Race Report
That was an awesome effort everyone put in last night running in the heat and humidity that felt as thick as pea soup. Yours truly, Joey “Dropped the Bananas” Danyliw, by the miracle of attrition and a secret shortcut, managed to lay down the 1st place male Conde and 51st overall male time of 25:51. Denise “Boca Loca” McDonald secured the 1st place Conde female and 31st overall female spot in 28:30.
Overall we placed 8th out of 9 teams, so sleep tight knowing we can at least kick Sony’s butt. We were short one male so forfeits never help the overall score much. But, better to keep the company profitable than run around in circle is in the park...so keep at it and hopefully things will turn out better for the season finale race.
SEASON FINAL RACE #5 – Tuesday, Aug 25th @ 7PM After the race we’ll proceed to Dallas BBQ on 27 W 72nd (just off Central Park West) for a free dinner, to socialize with friends, and give thanks to the running gods for another safe and prosperous running season. Hope to see you there!
